On 12 April 2014 (China time), World Bank President Jim Yong Kim hosted a first-ever LGBT meeting in Washington with 15 Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) leaders from developing countries. They discussed the discrimination they’re facing in their countries and debated the creation of a more inclusive financial system.
Two Chinese representatives took part in the meeting.
