In the evening of December 22, the 2012 China Rainbow Media Awards Ceremony was held in Guangzhou. Before the Ceremony, the Media Awards and Sun Yat-Sen University’s Sex/Gender Education Forum conducted a novel workshop for media workers on reporting on sexual minority issues. Journalists from more than 20 national media outlets attended.
