From 29 to 31 March 2013, the 5th ILGA Asia Conference was successfully held in Bangkok, Thailand. It was the biggest gathering of sexual minorities ever in Asia. Over 250 delegates from 25 countries attended the meeting. 15 activists from Mainland China participated, including Queer Comrades and BGHEI director Xiaogang Wei, who gave a speech.
ILGA stands for International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association. ILGA is the biggest worldwide LGBT federation.
