On 19 December, a judgment was pronounced in China’s first “gay conversion” case.
The Beijing Haidian District People’s Court ruled that the defendant, the Chongqing Xinyu Piaoxiang Psychological Counseling Center,needs to publish a public apology for its “conversion” practices and pay compensation to the plaintiff.
