This year, more than 30 countries & regions participated in celebrating the International Day Against Homophobia & Transphobia (IDAHO). In China, LGBT organizations from all around the country organized IDAHO events. These activities indicate that China’s LGBT community is taking an active stance in showing itself to society, in increasing integration and understanding of the LGBT community in mainstream society, and in contributing a Chinese voice to the international LGBT equal rights movement. We hope that more and more LGBT people will join these activities.
