On 20 September, the China AIDS Walk took place for the second time in Shanxi, and conquered the Taiyuan Juewei Mountain.
This Shanxi China AIDS Walk event was co-organized by the Shanxi Province Health Management Association and the Shanxi Landian Working Group. During the Walk, the participants unfurled a 200-meter-long red ribbon on the rugged mountain. It was the longest red ribbon ever to be pinned on a mountain in China.
110 people participated in the Walk, including social workers, volunteers, people living with HIV/AIDS and warm-hearted entrepreneurs. The youngest partipant was 7, the oldest 60. Together, they truly embodied the China AIDS Walk spirit: fighting HIV/AIDS by working together across sectors and borders.
