The International Day Against Homophobia & Transphobia (17/05) is upon us . As times have changed, the plight of LGBT groups has gained more and more positive attention and interest. However, how are these groups speaking out for themselves? Some have chosen speech, some have chosen tableaux, but Fan Popo has chosen films. On the sixteenth of May we will welcome Fan, the author of “Blowup: A Comprehensive Record of Gay Film” to narrate for us the way in which the LGBT community has used image as a method of vocalization.
